In order to regain power by absorbing their blood, Shilen initiated the sacrifice of creatures inside Catacombs and Necropolises across Aden, leaving behind a deathly aura. King Amadeo ordered that the entrances to all Catacombs and Necropolises be shut, to keep adventurers out and to keep the deadly auras in. When these dungeons were shut down, the Seven Signs quest cycle ground to a halt and the following changes were made:
A Quest Zone is a location that offers a timed quest in which all parties in the zone work towards a common goal. The current Quest Zone areas are Orbis Temple and the Harnak Underground Ruins. When a party enters a Quest Zone, the quest is automatically accepted by every player. Players can check their quest progress by clicking the Quest Zone interface window at the top of the screen. The quest is automatically stopped when a participant leaves the zone, but the quest can be continued at its current progress point if the participants return to the zone before the quest’s or particular quest step’s time limit is up.
The Harnak Underground Ruins quest has a time limit of three hours to complete. It gives a basic reward (3-day Demon Circlet) and a reward for high ranking participants (3-day Chic Silver Chapeau).
A campaign is a server-wide quest that offers a significant XP reward. Unlike most quests, which can only be acquired by speaking directly to an NPC, campaigns are announced in a server message, and characters who meet the campaign's participation requirements may choose whether or not to take part. To take part in a campaign, players with eligible characters can click the Campaign button displayed on screen, and then click the Participate button. When the campaign’s goal is reached, every participant receives a reward and, depending on the campaign, characters who rank highly are given additional rewards. Campaigns can begin at any time during designated hours, and different campaigns may begin on different servers simultaneously. The goal of a campaign may vary depending on the number of players logged onto the server. Characters may obtain Marks of a King and Marks of a Lord for participating in campaigns, which can be traded for items through Royal Token Exchanger Conrad in Aden.
