A Common item will become an Unidentified item in Goddess of Destruction. All R-grade or higher items are Unidentified when first obtained. To use an item, a character must double-click on the Unidentified item. The Unidentified item then changes into a Bound, Standard, or Blessed item at random. The four item conditions have different conditions and restrictions.
Unidentified: The item’s name is displayed, but not its quality level. It cannot be equipped or altered with enchantments. It can be traded, dropped, and sold.
Bound: The item is bound to the character who obtained it. It cannot be traded, mailed, dropped, or sold to other characters, but can be sold to NPC shops. It can be enchanted, augmented, and given special abilities and attributes. R-grade Bound items can be converted into Standard items by using Unbind Scrolls sold by special NPCs. However, a Bound item cannot be unbound if it has been augmented. All other alterations made to a Bound item (enchantment, special abilities, attributes, and armor set effects) remain with the item when it is converted to a Standard item. Bound items can also be converted into Standard items through the Blacksmith of Mammon. Bound items cannot be turned into PvP items.
Standard: The item can be traded, dropped, and sold. It can be enchanted, augmented, and given special abilities and attributes.
Blessed: The item can be traded, dropped, and sold. It can be enchanted, augmented, and given special abilities and attributes. Blessed items get the highest stat boost when enchanted.
Unbind Scrolls only apply to R-grade items. Unbind Scrolls for the different levels of R-grade can be found in different areas:
A large number of R-grade accessories, potions, and other items have been added to the game.
Other new jewelry items for each territory are now available as rewards for participating in Territory Wars. These include rings, earrings, and necklaces offering a variety of stat boosts depending on the item.
A new arrow supply system has been added to the game. Characters can now purchase Infinite Quivers or Infinite Bolt Containers, which contain an endless supply of arrows or bolts, respectively. Conventional arrows can still be used, but they can no longer be obtained by hunting monsters. Quivers and bolt containers can be purchased from Grocer NPCs in any town except for Talking Island Village. The quiver and container names differ according to the item grade:
In the wake of the destruction caused by Shilen’s awakening, the land and the people of Aden have suffered greatly. Adventurers are asked to donate what they can to ease the plight of the people and to help rebuild the beautiful and proud land of Aden. As thanks for their donations, adventurers can receive certain rewards. Visit Moe in Giran or Eeny in Talking Island Village to make a donation.
As reward for a donation of 50,000 Adena and certain required amounts of basic crafting materials and D-, C-, or B-grade crystals, characters receive a Treasure Chest. As reward for a donation of a combination of A-, S-, or R-grade crystals and gemstones, characters receive a Hero’s Treasure Chest.
